Patchwork scarf - Blues

Going to a fabric shop is a lot of fun because you get to feel the fabrics and think of what you are going to do. I always look around and my mind starts to feel with ideas. Some fabrics are so soft and beautiful. I like the touch of it.

At the moment, I am enjoying to work with felt and flannel fabrics. Therefore, I bought more colours to work with.

I decided to make another patchwork scarf. I wanted something soft and light. So I used  baby blue and brown flannel fabric.

I love to make double-sided things because you can change the style accordingly to suit what you wear and what you feel!

Simple fabrics

I just got some simple fabrics and matched with green flannel fabric.

Finally, I have my own workroom:

Therefore, I decided to make some nice cushions covers and even used a scrap to renew the design of an old chair (recycle).

Before you throw anything away, think if you can renew it, with just a simple beautiful fabric.

That is exactly what I did.

Iphone Cover - Ice cream pie

Just made a new item. I always get so excited when completing something new!

And I named it, Ice cream pie....don't ask me, the name just pop into my mind :0)

This time, I wanted to play around with different felt fabrics. So, I placed blue beside pink and loved the combination.  But I felt that another colour could lighten it a bit and there it was yes beige!

It did the trick.

As for the inside, I used indigo colour to match the outside colour.

The final design came out like this:

Sizes:      3.5inches x 5inches
Colours: Blue/pink/white

Fabrics:  Felt and popline

Patchwork Scarf - Cappucino

I never thought, I would make a patchwork scarf.

Whatever you want to make, with a little of love, imagination and work, your hands can make wonders!
 You will be surprised, with what you are capable of creating! Give it a try.

Choosing the right fabric:  Flannel

This time, I decided to used flannel fabric because it is a soft fabric and there are so many beautiful colours to choose from.

Nothing is better than a soft touch around your neck during winter to keep you warm and looking good!

Two-sided patchwork scarf:

One side is dark brown/light pink/red/brown pattern

The other side is just dark brown and light pink

Absence - Mind thinking

Been absent for a while..but my mind has been working with new ideas. I have this idea of making a patchwork scarf. I am searching for warm and soft fabrics, which I can give a try. Let's see how it goes.

At the moment, I am organizing the patterns and style.
