I love making handmade papers especially using flowers and leaves. For this book, I decided to try with bamboo leaves. They are so exotic and delicate.
And they are so strong like the Japanese proverb ‘The bamboo that bends is stronger than the oak that resists’.
On the pages there are sayings about bamboo leaves. I love to let the person who writes on these pages to find it interesting and to get to know about the bamboo tree and their leaves!
In the middle of the book, I have included a beautiful photo printed. And of course, they are bamboo leaves and the image makes you focus and on the green color of the leaves.
The pages have questions followed by answers regarding the bamboo leaves!
Everything has to be fun and interesting. A book is not just to write on. It has to be an interesting book and a book that you feel comfortable and enjoy to write on them!
